  3. Prerequisites:

    Azure Administrators who migrate and manage SAP solutions on Azure, and manage the cloud services that span storage, networking, and cloud computing capabilities with an in-depth understanding of various services across the full IT lifecycle. Before taking appearing for this exam, it is recommended for students to have taken the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals AZ-900, Azure Administrator AZ-104, and Azure Solutions Architect AZ-300 along with SAP HANA and Linux training. There are no mandatory exams related to AZ-120 and hence candidates can focus solely on this certification.

    • Migrate SAP Workloads to Azure (10-15%)

    From this module, you can expect questions on designing core infrastructure solutions in Azure to support SAP Workloads, design resilient Azure solutions like SA/DR models supported in HANA application servers, Disaster recovery, and Database HA.

    • Design an Azure Solution to Support SAP Workloads (20-25%)

    This module deals with topics on Virtual Machines, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) template, virtual networking, isolation and segmentation of SAP landscape, managing access and authentication on Azure (RBAC), JIT access, implement and manage identities such as AD Federation and single sign-on, LDAP/Kerberos/SSH, Linux VMs Active Directory domain membership mechanism, build and deploy HA/DR infrastructure for SAP products like SAP BusinessOne, SAP Business Object BI.

    • Validate Azure Infrastructure for SAP Workloads (10-15%)

    You will be expected to answer questions on performing infrastructure validation check for Apache JMeter, Spirent Avalanche, Microfocus LoadRunner, SAP HANA Hardware and Cloud Management Tools (HCMT) (HANA), perform operational readiness checks such as HA checks, failover test, DR test, DR text, and print test.

    • Operationalize Azure SAP Architecture (10-15%)

    From this module you can expect questions on test performance and health of SAP workloads on Azure using ABAPmeter, bandwidth adjustment for ExpressRoute, IPtables ExpressRoute Fast Path and ExpressRoute GlobalReach for HANA Large Instances (HLI), migration strategy, Azure migrate, private and public IP addresses, network routes, network interface, subnets, and virtual network, storage configuration, backup and restore of data, SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) (migration from DB2, Oracle, SAP ASE, to SQL Server in an Azure VM).
