Steps to configure AWS Organization

Step 1 – Click on the AWS Organization and click on the add an AWS Account.

Step 2 – Give the account name and the email ID for creating a new account and click on create AWS Account.

Step 3 – After creating the account console will look like this.

Step 4 – You will get a confirmation mail and click on forgot password and create the new password. You can also invite the existing account to the organization. Give the existing account id and click on send invitation.

Step 5 – Login into the existing AWS account which you have mentioned above and go to the aws organization console and click on the accept invitation.

Step 6 – After that you can see the account in the AWS organization.

  1. AWS Organization can be performed in the root account only.
  2. You can give the service control policies to all the accounts in the organization.
