In the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (DOP-C02) exam, you will be required to complete 75 questions in 180 minutes. This exam will cost you $300 USD plus taxes. 

To make the most of this course, participants should have: 

  1. Previous attendance at the System Operations on AWS or Developing on AWS courses. 
  1. Working knowledge of one or more high-level programming languages, such as C#, Java, PHP, Ruby, Python 
  1. Intermediate knowledge of administering Linux or Windows systems at the command-line level 
  1. Two or more years of experience provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments. 

The passing score for the exam is 750 out of 1000. The certification is valid for three years, after which you’ll need to recertify.

In the event of failing an exam, a waiting period of 14 days is mandated before you can retake the same exam. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts you can make. Nevertheless, it’s essential to note that the full registration fee is required for each attempt. Once you have successfully passed an exam, you are prohibited from retaking the identical exam for a duration of two years. However, if the exam has been revised and issued with a new exam guide and exam series code, you will be eligible to undertake the updated version of the exam. 

AWS certifications are valid for three years, after which you must update your certification.
