Steps to Create a Replication Rule is Amazon S3

  1. In Amazon S3, select the bucket you want to create the replication rule for. Click on Management Tab and click on Create Replication rule.
    Note: You need to enable Object versioning to create a replication rule


2. Write the replication name and choose a status.


3. In the Source bucket, choose a rule scope.


Choose the Destination bucket, where you get two options from the same account or a different account
Note: You need to enable Object versioning to the destination bucket.


4. Choose the AWS IAM role, or it has the option of creating a new AWS IAM role, and you can enable server-side encryption.


5. It has the option to change the destination storage class for replicated objects. Then click on save.


6. Then you must create a Job where you get two options Automatically run the job or in another will for review and there is an option for completion report where we need to select report scope and choose the path for the report where it needs to save


7. Click on save


8. Then it will start replication.
