Rocket Learning struggled with analyzing large Amazon Redshift data for ECD performance tracking, requiring a secure, automated reporting system. Existing Power Automate email solutions were unreliable, failing to handle bounces effectively, leading to communication gaps and lack of visibility on undelivered emails. They needed a cost-efficient, serverless solution with minimal intervention.
• Reviewed Amazon Redshift database structure and created necessary queries.
• Used Amazon EventBridge to trigger AWS Lambda for automated execution.
• Lambda fetches data from Redshift, formats it in Excel, and sends via Amazon SES.
• Amazon SNS captures email bounces, triggering Lambda to generate a bounce report.
• Bounce reports are sent to the internal team for visibility on delivery failures.
