The infrastructure couldn’t scale with growing smart meter deployments and data volumes, while strict regulatory security requirements and business continuity concerns demanded a more connectivity solution.
• Deployed AWS Direct Connect with dedicated private network connection between on-premises data center and AWS for lower latency and consistent performance
• Provisioned dual hosted Direct Connect links via Vodafone Idea with 200 Mbps dedicated bandwidth (2 × 100 Mbps connections)
• Terminated connections at Mumbai SFY52 location, integrated with Amazon VPC through AWS Transit Gateway
• Enabled jumbo frames for optimized data transfer
• Implemented end-to-end TLS encryption, centralized monitoring with Amazon CloudWatch and Amazon VPC Flow Logs, and enforced least-privilege access through AWS IAM and Security Groups
