The client managed a large volume of land-related legal documents across different systems and formats, requiring legal teams to manually review, validate, and ensure compliance, a time-consuming process prone to inconsistencies and human errors. Retrieving specific information from lengthy documents was slow, data was distributed across multiple sources, and there was no automated system to cross-validate documents against predefined rules.
• Users access the legal document assistant via a secure web interface delivered through Amazon CloudFront, routed via ALB to a FastAPI backend on Amazon EC2.
• Legal documents (Opinion documents and ECs) are stored in Amazon S3, converted to vector embeddings using Amazon Bedrock, and indexed in Amazon RDS (VectorDB) for semantic search.
• User queries in English or Tamil retrieve relevant context from the vector database, with responses generated using Amazon
• Amazon Bedrock models (Claude Sonnet, Claude Haiku, or Gemma) and Bedrock Guardrails for safe outputs.
• A Supervisor Agent using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime with Strands Agents orchestrates tools, including the Knowledge Base
• Query, Rules Check, and Source Check to validate responses.
• Amazon AgentCore Memory and Observability maintain conversational context and monitor agent performance.
• Security and monitoring are handled via AWS IAM, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Secrets Manager, and Amazon ECR.
