You can consider it as an introduction course to learn Power BI. It is best suited for people who are absolute beginners to Power BI and data analysis in general. You can consider roughly 20% of the PL-300 course is covered in DP-605.

So, if you are a beginner and want a kickstart before taking an associate-level certification course, consider taking DP-605 first. That will really ease your PL-300 learning experience, even if you don’t have the desired background.
