Reduced Latency and Improved Reliability with Advanced Infrastructure Optimization
The client is a software platform emphasizing blazing-fast RPCs, extensive APIs, real-time infrastructure, and robust support, documentation, and code samples. It includes an advanced real-time infrastructure for instant data synchronization and updates, perfect for applications needing up-to-the-second data accuracy.
Enhancing user experience and application responsiveness
Support for growth
Maintaining operational continuity and user confidence
The customer faces several challenges with their current infrastructure hosted in the Mumbai region. Having a physical distance to the Mumbai data center results in increased latency and slower response times, negatively impacting user experience and service performance. Their current infrastructure doesn’t adequately support their growing user base and increasing demand for their European services. The Mumbai region’s capacity constraints limit their ability to scale effectively, leading to potential performance bottlenecks and service disruptions. These issues necessitate the consideration of migrating their workload to the Frankfurt region to improve performance, comply with regulations, and enhance scalability and resilience.
• The solution involves migrating AWS services from the client’s existing account to a new one, with a focus on baseline security implementation and seamless transition of services.
• In order to ensure that client confirmation of Amazon CloudWatch alarms, services such as AWS WAF and Amazon CloudWatch rules are reconfigured in the new account.
• Amazon RDS PostgreSQL databases are moved from source to destination accounts, and Amazon EC2 instances are moved to the Frankfurt region under the new account.
• Amazon S3 data is transferred without any data loss, and storage class configurations are matched to those of the current account.
• AWS services are turned over to the client team after meticulous planning, communication, and cooperation throughout the process guarantee a successful migration.
• We have successfully replicated all key components of the network infrastructure, including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, route tables, security groups, and network access control lists (ACLs), from the original setup to the new AWS account.
Improved user experience with reduced latency, supported growth and reliability, ensuring minimal downtime and effective disaster recovery plans.
