The customer lacked a standardized cloud framework and well-architected Azure setup, making it difficult to meet their client’s technical, operational, and security expectations for hosting critical applications. They needed to quickly provision Azure resources, ensure network isolation, support application hosting, and provide ongoing monitoring and governance while designing an environment that could scale and evolve with increasing application and usage demands.
• Designed secure Azure environment with structured VNet including Public, Web, Application, and Database subnets
• Added Bastion Host for secure admin access and NAT Gateway for controlled outbound traffic
• Implemented Application Gateway with Azure WAF and CDN for protection and performance
• Deployed Azure App Service/VMs in Web Layer to host client application
• Built Application Layer using App Service, VMs, and Azure Functions for backend processing
• Configured Azure PostgreSQL Database and Redis Cache for secure high-performance data storage
• Enforced security with Network Security Groups (NSGs) across all subnets
• Integrated Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Container Registry for secrets, monitoring, storage, and deployments
