The HRMS application remained inaccessible to external users due to incomplete infrastructure configurations. The frontend and backend services were not exposed through the Application Load Balancer, port mappings were missing, and security group rules did not allow controlled access, significantly impacting HRMS usability and ERP integration.
• Review of existing AWS ERP infrastructure and ALB configuration
• Verification of HRMS frontend and backend services running on EC2
• Creation and configuration of dedicated ALB target groups for HRMS services
• Implementation of URL-based listener rules for HRMS frontend and backend routing
• Mapping of HRMS backend to port 8081 and frontend to port 8082
• Update of EC2 and Load Balancer security group rules to allow controlled traffic
• Validation of external accessibility for HRMS URLs
• End-to-end connectivity testing to ensure seamless HRMS and ERP integration
