Migrated ERP to AWS Multi-AZ with automated backups and enhanced security
Manikstu specializes in providing high-quality supplement and nutrient products for goats. Their mission is to enhance livestock health, growth, and productivity through scientifically formulated products. As their digital footprint expanded, the need for an advanced cloud foundation became essential for hosting customer-facing platforms and internal ERP systems.
Downtime Risk Reduction
Database Performance Improvement
Operational Overhead Reduction
Manikstu Agro’s ERP system was hosted in a traditional on-premises environment with limited scalability, manual database backups, no automated monitoring, and a high risk of downtime due to a single point of failure. The system lacked network segmentation and sufficient access controls and experienced performance bottlenecks during concurrent user access, with no disaster recovery mechanism in place.
• Established secure AWS foundation with AWS IAM least-privilege policies, MFA enforcement, and AWS CloudTrail logging for audit compliance.
• Designed a three-tier Amazon VPC architecture with public (ALB, Bastion) and private subnets (ERP application and database tiers), ensuring full network isolation.
• Migrated on-premises ERP database to Amazon RDS (MySQL) with Multi-AZ deployment for high availability and automatic failover.
• Configured automated backups and Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR) using AWS Backup and Amazon RDS snapshots.
• Optimized database performance through parameter tuning, Performance Insights, and storage auto-scaling configuration.
• Implemented Application Load Balancer with health checks to ensure ERP application resilience.
• Enabled Amazon CloudWatch monitoring and alerts for CPU, memory, DB connections, replication lag, and latency metrics.
Achieved 60% downtime reduction, 40-50% performance improvement, and 35% operational overhead reduction through AWS Multi-AZ ERP migration with automated backups and enhanced security.
