As ExamOnline expanded into European markets, the organization needed to establish a production-grade AWS environment in Europe to deliver lower latency, meet regional data residency and compliance requirements, and maintain consistency with the existing Mumbai deployment. An automated multi-region deployment strategy was required to replicate Kubernetes workloads, databases, and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring uniform security, governance, and operational standards across both regions.
• Deployed a production-ready AWS Milan Region environment using the existing Terraform and Terragrunt-based IaC framework.
• Replicated the AWS Mumbai production infrastructure in the AWS Milan Region.
• Built a highly available Amazon VPC with networking, security, and connectivity components.
• Deployed Amazon EKS, Amazon ECR, and Amazon Aurora MySQL Serverless v2 for application and database workloads.
• Hosted static web applications using Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront.
• Configured ALB, AWS KMS, AWS Secrets Manager, and Amazon CloudWatch for traffic management, security, and monitoring.
• Enabled Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Inspector, AWS Security Hub, and AWS CloudTrail for security and compliance.
• Extended AWS CodePipeline and AWS CodeBuild for automated multi-region deployments.
• Implemented AWS Global Accelerator to optimize application performance and user access.
