EBS volume GP3 with 3000 IOPS and 125 MBPS was used throughout as block volumes for E-paper, Bengali Website, and Databases server to provide a reliable, performance-induced, and cost-effective solution to server volumes.
EFS was used for the newspaper’s primary application (Bengali Website) as a shared storage volume for the auto-scaled application.
AWS-managed encryption keys encrypt the data for Amazon EBS and Amazon EFS.
Lifecycle policies were set for Amazon EFS for cost optimization.
Downtime due to Internet bandwidth and power outages was minimized as the workloads were moved to AWS.
