Guidely struggled with a large volume of unstructured content across PDFs, documents, and web pages, making it hard for students to find relevant information quickly. Static FAQ pages and manual support could not scale with growing user traffic, leading to slow and inconsistent query resolution.
• Web interface hosted on Amazon S3 and delivered via Amazon CloudFront, supporting admin and student access.
• Admins configure welcome messages and settings via dedicated endpoints, with AWS Lambda generating pre-signed URLs for secure data sync.
• Student queries flow through Amazon API Gateway to AWS Lambda, with conversation metadata and configurations stored in Amazon DynamoDB.
• AWS Lambda invokes Amazon Bedrock with Anthropic Claude Haiku to generate FAQ responses and recommendation-style questions.
• RAG setup uses Amazon Titan Text v2 for embeddings, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL Serverless for vector storage, and Amazon S3 for document sourcing.
• Website content is crawled via a FastAPI service on Amazon EC2, with refreshed content pushed to Amazon S3.
• Amazon EventBridge Scheduler triggers Amazon EC2 crawler start/stop and knowledge base synchronization after each crawl.
