The client’s legacy infrastructure faced limitations impacting reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Manual application deployments on EC2 instances caused slow deployments and inconsistent environments. The MariaDB RDS setup created overhead with fragmented schemas and no automated disaster recovery. Without containerization, the platform struggled to scale and adopt modern DevOps practices. Non-centralized CI/CD processes resulted in deployments without proper rollbacks, quality checks, or automation. Inconsistent, non-modular Terraform usage increased maintenance efforts.
