The client is a flagship regional publication owned by Tiding Media & Communications Pvt. Ltd., headquartered in Kolkata. Known for its strong regional journalism, the client has built deep trust among Bengali-speaking audiences and now aims to evolve into a national multilingual news platform.

The client faced significant challenges in expanding its reach beyond Bengali-speaking audiences due to limitations in its existing platform. The manual translation process was slow, error-prone, and could not scale to handle the high volume of daily news articles. Additionally, the lack of multilingual support, real-time publishing, and search functionality made it difficult for non-Bengali users to discover and engage with the content. The backend infrastructure lacked automation, unified content workflows, and metadata management, further hindering efficiency and growth.
· Automated content ingestion using AWS Lambda and Amazon EventBridge to fetch Bengali news from RSS feeds and store it in an encrypted Amazon S3.
· Translation processing via Lambda invoking Amazon Bedrock Claude v3.5 to translate articles into Hindi and English while preserving HTML structure.
· Translated content stored in language-specific Amazon S3 folders with metadata tracked in Amazon DynamoDB for traceability.
· Vector embeddings generated using Amazon Titan Text v2 and stored in Aurora PostgreSQL for semantic search.
· Hybrid multilingual search is enabled through Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Base synchronization across all supported languages.
· AWS Lambda manages content delivery via Amazon API Gateway, which returns combined responses with original and translated content.
· Frontend delivered through a responsive React app hosted on Amazon S3 and distributed via Amazon CloudFront.
· Security implemented with AWS IAM role-based access and monitoring via Amazon CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail.
Developed automated GenAI multilingual news platform on AWS, reducing translation time from hours to 5 minutes, processing 120+ daily articles, and increasing non-Bengali reader engagement by 45%.
