The National E-commerce platform faced fragmented cloud operations with nine AWS accounts and five teams, leading to security, performance, and cost issues due to shared servers, lack of centralized networking, access, and monitoring, inconsistent configurations, no standardized CI/CD pipeline, and challenges in modernizing non-containerized applications.
• Built a secure, scalable multi-account setup using AWS Control Tower with governance via SCPs.
• Established hub-and-spoke networking with AWS Transit Gateway for inter-VPC communication.
• Enabled secure access with AWS Client VPN, Site-to-Site VPN, and subnet segmentation.
• Protected workloads using AWS WAF, private subnets, and encrypted backend services.
• Centralized monitoring with VPC Flow Logs, AWS Config, AWS CloudTrail, and shared DevOps tools.
• Deployed resilient apps on Amazon EKS and optimized costs with Auto Scaling and cross-AZ strategies.
