There are no prerequisites for this certification. It's intended for beginners, and prior knowledge of AWS is not required.
The certification covers core AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch, along with basic concepts of AWS security, pricing, and billing.
Prepare by taking the AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials course, reviewing the exam guide, using practice exams, and gaining hands-on experience with AWS services via the Free Tier.
The exam consists of 65 multiple-choice questions, lasts 90 minutes, and costs $100 USD. It is available online or at Pearson VUE test centers. The passing score is 700 out of 1000.
